Your Instructors:

Nick J. Scott, L.M.T., is the Instructor and Associate Director of the Ojai School of Massage. He graduated in 1986 from Desert Institute of the Healing Arts, one of the premier massage schools in the nation. In 1988 he graduated from Educating Hands School of Massage with additional training in Hydrotherapy. He then studied Chinese Acupressure and Dit Dar treatments with Augustine Fong, and went on to study Trager and Attentive Physical Transformation with Gregory Johnson. Nick has been presenting workshops and teaching massage therapy since 1989, and has taught advanced massage classes at Educating Hands School of Massage. Having spent eight years in a Tibetan Buddhist retreat center, he brings to his classes a unique blend of meditation and massage techniques.

Sherrie B. Dawkins, L.M.T., C.A., graduated in 1996, with honors, from Michael Scholes School of Aromatic Studies where she studied introductory and advanced Aromatherapy. She furthered her studies in aromatherapy by training with Kurt Schnaubelt and Jeanne Rose. In 1997 Sherrie graduated from the Body Therapy Institute with a certificate in Massage Therapy, and went on the earn her Counseling certificate from Human Relations Institute. Sherrie has been practicing aromatherapy for eight years, and is the owner of Cherubs Aromatherapy and Day Spa. She offers speaking engagements and workshops in aromatherapy and has appeared in various books, magazines, and on television.

Alex Hillairet, L.M.T., C.A., graduated in 1997 from Université de Provence with a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the Ojai School of Massage where he earned hs 500-hour certification training in Massage Therapy and his 400-hour certification in Aromatherapy. Alex is completing his Masters degree training at the Santa Barbara School of Oriental Medicine. He is an instructor of chemistry, anatomy and physiology at the Ojai School of Massage.
